An ex-Trump campaign advisor is speaking out against Fusion GPS after exposing it’s ties to the Democrats Russia collusion narrative.
Former Trump campaign Advisor Michael Caputo suggests the special counsel is still pushing the Russia collusion narrative.
The former aide is slamming the mainstream media, accusing journalists of to refusing to cover negative stories on Fusion GPS.
In a Sunday report, Caputo argued many reporters won’t write negative stories on the controversial firm. He went on to say they are being paid by its founder Glenn Simpson.
This comes after a report last month confirmed a former Diane Feinstein staffer named Dan Jones hired Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele to push the Russia collusion narrative after the 2016 presidential election.
Caputo also slammed the Senate Intelligence Committee panel for continuing the Russia probe after it was revealed the investigation began based on the discredited DNC funded dossier.
During an interview with CBS, Caputo said the Mueller team appeared to already have the answers to the questions they asked after they interrogated the former aid last week.
He added, that while he was asked about collusion it did not appear that the counsel had any proof of the allegations nor did they asked any questions about anyone named Trump.
He followed up, warning the president against speaking with Mueller, who has said he would meet with the special counsel to answer questions on the probe, but only if he is “treated fairly.”
